![]() ![]() ![]() naturally you'll have to move every once in a while but it beats getting stomped by him. being as far away as possible (in front) is beyond it's range of stomping. so i'm actually as far in front of him as i possibly can but not too far or else i use my melee. as a paladin, i'm using my "judgment", "avenger's shield" & "hammer of wrath" (when target is less than 20% in health). this is slightly more trickier because you have to be very observant by a split second to run behind it.ģ) my strategy is actually the easiest for me. as i said above, this is a (front) ground based stomp so it will not effect you if you're behind the motlen behemoth. this is a little tricky when you're busy fighting him w/ all your arsenal.Ģ) when the molten behemoth is ready to stomp on you, run thru his legs to be behind him. make sure you're already off the ground before he stomps you. It took me about 40 seconds.Ĭomment by dsiaconothere are actually 3 ways to flawlessly slay the molten behemoth.ġ)when the molten behemoth is ready to stomp on you, you can jump because this is (front) ground based. ![]() The only time you can wail on him is directly after a successful stun, but break away the second you see that Stomp cast-bar. Every now and then you can fit in two quick attacks/spells rather than one, but you'll regret pushing it too far. You are going to take turns trading blows back and forth until he is dead. (d) Once his Stomp is over, rinse and repeat in a slow backwards kite. Trust me - you will find out the hard way how big it is, then you have to kill that one and find another with the proper kite path. The blast area of Stomp is slightly larger than the red hit-circle. Just one! The second you see his cast bar you jump backwards twice. (c) Step up to the edge of the red circle and do a single attack. You are only going to get his Stomp, because you are going to make him do what you want. (b) For those melee that aren't so speedy, click on the Molten Behemoth to make the red hit-circle appear. Person one: Wow that was a fast shit Person two: Flawless victory man In and out by whiskeybeer OctoGet the Flawless Victory mug. No poo to speak of, its all in the toilet. Luckily there are quite a few of them pathing around, and also after you kill one it respawns relatively quickly. The pleasant and rare occasion in which after a long and sometimes stressful poo the wiper reveals a clean piece of toilet paper. It can be stunned, but not all interrupts work. =)Ĭomment by 330590(a) Plan on kiting it backward in a more or less straight line, the worms won't attack you if you stay away. Good luck and all the best to melee classes out there. That way, you have a lot of space to move about, kite him, and also better visual. So it would be better to solo them at less crowded areas. If not, attack the other Behemoths in the area and try again.įor the daily quest The Harder They Fall, behemoths will be everywhere attacking Hyjal force. If everything goes to plan, BAM you'll get the achievement. I'd also attack him with Colossus Smash if I had the opportunity and used Heroic Throw when I had some distance from him, just to reduce his health. Popped my trinkets, Blood Fury (Orc), Recklessnes, or Death Wish to drop his health faster. With the Glyph of Intercept, you should be able to get 2.50 seconds worth of stun time (according to the tooltip). After intercept, he will be stunned for a second or two. If you go too far, he will cast Fiery Boulder. Once I've distanced myself to the minimum of Intercept's range, or until Intercept has finished it's cooldown, Intercept and attack him again. You'll know if you blew it, if your flying across to the other side of the moon. You might attack the neutral scorpions or enemies that are focused on the Hyjal force. Mostly I'll just attack with Bloodthirst, Raging Blow and Slam (instant cast when its up), and Execute (below 20%). When he cast Molten stomp, I'd give it a one two, and halfway during the cast, I'd run and hop as far as I can. Since the behemoth keeps spamming Molten Stomp, I had to time my attacks correctly. These were the tactics that I used to bring that behemoth crumble to its knees (face hits the floor.and let it slide baby): Easy to solo him but at the same time easy to make a mistake. Comment by 357360I was able to obtain this achievement on my Orc Fury Warrior (with a mixture of ilvl 318, 333, 346, 359 and 365 items). ![]()
